Excerpts from the tapes:
George: I miss looking at the moon and stars with Caylee every night at bedtime.
"I'd give up my life for her."
Bolin: "I don't care if I hurt you or Cindy or Casey. I only care about Caylee. You and Cindy will be okay. Lee will be okay. Casey made her choices and she is responsible for them. Caylee is the only one who didn't have a choice or a say in what happened."
George: "That distinct odor. That's, that's something you never forget. That distinct odor. I, I, I believe something was placed in the back of that trunk. The basketball-sized stain in the trunk also reeked. The smell from the pizza in the tash bag is bad, but not as bad as the smell from the stain. The smell of the two are different but he knows the smell of the stain is human decomposition.
FBI Special Agent Scott Bolin: I expect to find out from the lab that there was human DNA in it.
------------------------------------------
George: "It all boils down to my daughter knows something. She won't say anything."
George blames Jose Baez,(Casey's attorney) for keeping her quiet at Caylee's expense.
George: I know Casey is going away for a long time, but if she talks she can spare herself possible harm from inmates who target people who harm children.
Bolin: The answers are still very nearby. They may not be at the house with you right now, but they're nearby."
George: Casey's story makes no sense. There's little threads of truth in all these little lies she's telling, I know it, but we just can't get it together."
George: "Zanny is supposed to be the person that knocked her down and took her kid in front of witnesses, but we have no witnesses that say this happened outside of her."
--------------------------------------------------------
George: "Caylee never ever mentioned Zanny the Nanny even though she often spoke of others she knew well. If you asked her, 'Did you have a good time with Zanny today?' There was never any brightness or anything like that come through her."
Bolin:"There was no recognition on her part?"
George: "No, none whatsoever." She never spoke of Amy, Rico (Ricardo) or Jeff H's "supposed" little boy, Zachary who was, according to Casey, Caylee's best friend. She would say Uncle Lee and "Maui" for Mallory, Lee Anthony's fiance.
Cindy called 911 to shake Casey up, to scare her into telling where Caylee is.
George:"I don't know my daughter aswell as I thought."
"Casey's old friends don't know her anymore." "Casey wanted to be a photographer."
"She changed after age 20."
----------------------------------------------------------------
Neither George or Cindy knew anything about Ricardo or Amy Huzenga until all of this happened.
"When he met Cindy 28 years ago, he loved how truthful and blunt she was. I know my wife is very tough, some people think she controls us."
Casey lied about and tried to cover up her pregnancy for a long time. Lee Anthony picked Casey up and made a crack about when she was expecting. Casey told Lee she was just bloated. Lee felt betrayed because Casey lied and wouldn't admit to him she was pregnant.
George and Cindy didn't meet Jesse Grund until Caylee's birth at the hospital. Jesse Grund gave them a copy of the paternity test showing he wasn't the biological father. As far as he knew Casey did not talk about wanting an abortion or giving up Caylee for adoption. Casey has always been resentful that Cindy was the first to hold Caylee.
Casey told them she called off the engagement with Jesse Grund because he was too controlling and she couldn't make her own decisions.
George admits that Caylee preferred he and Cindy, Caylee would run up to them.
------------------------------------------------------
George agreed with the FBI that Casey lies a lot. He'd recently found out that there were around 1200 pictures on the Internet of Casey in compromising situations.
LE told George that "very provocative images" were found on either his computer or the laptop.
His separation from Cindy earlier in the year came about from a loss of money through a Nigerian scam he fell for. He was portrayed as the bad guy in the separation. He lied to Cindy and told her it was through gambling because he was embarassed he fell for the scam.
Casey has been stealing a lot of money from them for the past couple of years. She steals money from Cindy's purse, stealing her credit cards.
Casey stole money from Caylee's piggy bank and from a bank account set up for Caylee's college fund. It had 3 or 400 dollars in it and at the time of interview, there was 5 dollars in it.
Casey has borrowed money and at one time owed a friend 500 dollars.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
George saw a resume Casey had filled out after her employment at Universal (2006) and Casey was putting down that she was a Nanny.
George: We gave Casey every opportunity regarding school and potential work and she simply did not take advanttage of the doors we opened for her.
George saw some clothes and a collapsible blue bin with the gas cans in it, in the trunk when Casey was getting the gas cans from the trunk of her car to give back to him. Neighbors have sid that they also had gas stolen from them. There were two gas cans. One is used for his trimmer that he mixes with oil. Casey put this gas mix into her car and it caused it to run poorly. There was an old backpack of Caylee's, black and apink with a clear pocket on it with toiletries for Caylee inside.
When they picked up the car at the tow yard Casey's purse was in the front seat of the car and it contained her drivers license, keys, everything.
Cindy: Casey gave them the password for the home computer, she had changed it to timer55. Casey told Lee that "timer55" meant that she(Casey) had 55 days to be taught a lesson. It's 55 days from June 14 to August 9th, Caylee's birthday. "We don't know if anything is going to change now because who knew police were going to be involved in this." "Lee has more information on why Zannie would double cross her."
When they picked up the car, Casey had Amy's resume in her backpack, there was a change of address card of Amy's switching over Amy's mail to the Anthony residence.
Cindy: Lee asked Casey "why have mom get the cops involved. Why don't you take us to see Caylee tonight instead of tomorrow?" Casey said "why disrupt her life, from here on out Caylee's life will never be the same."
